The world is an ever-evolving sphere sustaining all organic life. Now putting the word “Digital” in front and it becomes a whole new meaning. Starting from the Abacus dating back to the 2nd Century BC, all machines no matter how small or large contributed to the ease of life of a human being. Fast forward to 2019, the “Digital World” is the absolute epitome of all human creation merging to create a single paragon. Just like the physical world, the digital world too is a growing concept, progressing every second towards simplicity itself. The first commercially available microprocessor, Intel 4004’s main application was for Busicom calculation and arithmetic manipulation (6). Now the flagship 9th generation Intel i7-9700k can handle multithreaded workload boosting to a frequency of 5.1Ghz with it is embedded 8 cores (7). With time, all hardware reaches obsoletion but a new one emerges to take the throne, completing what the predecessor could do both faster and easier and guaranteeing simpler solution. This is the function of hardware in Digital World, to evolve to a new generation and support the foundation on what it was created for.
